DCCA Champion of Champions Competition

The DCCA Champion of Champions knockout competition for the Winter Wood Trophy is a yearly event open to the club champions of DCCA affiliated clubs. If your club's champion does not wish to play then the runner-up in the championship can play instead. Please contact the organiser if your club does not wish to enter.

The tentative schedule for this year's tournament depends on the number of entrants we receive however it's likely to take the following form (assuming 8 players or less):

• Quarter Finals: complete by March 28th
• Semi Finals: complete by May 23rd
• Final: complete by July 18th

The draw showing the pairings, and which player has home advantage in each round, will be published and the event finalised when we have details of all the entrants.

In the event of players having difficulty agreeing dates to play, as a last resort players may apply to the competition secretary for permission to play their match online.
